About Chopard
Chopard is a watch house founded in 1860 and based in Geneva, Switzerland, best known for Happy Sport and Alpine Eagle. Crown Auctions offers pre-owned Chopard pieces in its Australian online auctions. Each lot is inspected by specialists and listed with photographs and condition notes.
Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded the firm in Sonvilier in 1860. The Scheufele family has owned it since 1963.
Chopard combines jewellery and haute horlogerie. Its L.U.C manufacture movements are made in Fleurier, and its Happy Sport introduced "dancing" diamonds.
