About Omega

Omega is a watch house founded in 1848 and based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, best known for Speedmaster and Seamaster. Crown Auctions offers pre-owned Omega pieces in its Australian online auctions. Each lot is inspected by specialists and listed with photographs and condition notes.

Louis Brandt founded the company in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848, and it later moved to Biel. The Speedmaster was qualified by NASA in 1965 and worn on the Moon in 1969.

Omega's Co-Axial escapement and METAS-certified Master Chronometer movements make modern pieces some of the most accurate mechanical watches available.
