About Tudor

Tudor is a watch house founded in 1926 and based in Geneva, Switzerland, best known for Black Bay and Pelagos. Crown Auctions offers pre-owned Tudor pieces in its Australian online auctions. Each lot is inspected by specialists and listed with photographs and condition notes.

Hans Wilsdorf registered the Tudor name in 1926 to offer Rolex reliability at a more accessible price. Early Tudors used Rolex Oyster cases and crowns.

Since 2015 Tudor has produced its own manufacture movements, and the Black Bay has become one of the most popular modern sports watches.
